Be a positive force for change during #UMBigGive! 

The Big Give inspires those in the UM community — alumni, parents, friends and even students — to donate to the school, program or scholarship they want to uplift. 

Here’s where you come in! 

As a Big Give Ambassador, you will spread the word about the event, encouraging others to give. Ambassadors are critical to the success of The Big Give. Why? The biggest reason is that research shows people are more likely to donate to a specific cause when asked by a friend or peer.  

The University you love is counting on your help! 

After signing up, you’ll receive a unique fundraising link to share with your networks and be able to track your progress on the big day. 

To become an Ambassador, follow these steps: 

1. Sign up today using your email address.
2. Once you receive the confirmation email, click the Confirm Signup button and create your account. A welcome email will then provide access to your Ambassador Dashboard and personal fundraising link.  
3. Get the word out by saving the graphics below to your computer or phone and sharing them via email or social media. Share your personal fundraising link and the hashtag #UMBigGive with your network and encourage others to give. Bring out your old photos of time at UM and share your fondest memories, too! 
4. The Big Give’s You + Two initiative is a unique program for Ambassadors. When you give a gift of any size — and inspire two others to donate using your unique link — we'll send you a special token of our appreciation for helping write UM’s story and championing our students.
