Montana Museum of Art and Culture
Montana's Window to the World

Proud to feature our state’s largest publicly owned collection of art, the Montana Museum of Art and Culture has been teaching and connecting Montanans to their past and present since 1895. Our treasured collection of nearly 12,000 objects of historic importance makes the MMAC home to one of the largest assemblies of art in the Rocky Mountain Northwest.

The spirit of the American West is reflected in our galleries, where contemporary and historic pieces come together to explore local, regional and global themes. When you join us by donating today, you help us both honor traditions and move forward by:

  • Continuing to offer access to our wonderful galleries at no charge to the public
  • Acquiring work that encompasses the full breadth of the human experience
  • Offering tours, rotating exhibitions and outreach projects focused on community enrichment

Thank you for helping us continue our legacy of bringing the world to Montana and Montana to the world.

Every gift tells a tale. Be a part of the UM story, now and forever.
