Your gift to the UM Foundation in support of the UM Food Pantry helps us provide free food as well as personal care products to UM students and others facing basic needs insecurity in a confidential and dignified manner.

UM Food Pantry use has nearly doubled over the last year, and we’re proud to continue meeting the needs of UM students, thanks to generous community support. With your generosity, we help keep students in school and work to remove the stigma for those experiencing food and housing insecurity in our community. 

Private support is critical to achieving our mission and ensuring we always have a supply of healthy food and personal care products for customers of the pantry. Your gift helps: 

• Purchase a healthy variety of food for those experiencing food insecurity. 
• Build the capacity of the pantry to offer other services, such as SNAP application support, referrals, nutrition education and satellite locations.
• Support the passionate UM Food Pantry staff in educating others about food justice and raising awareness to address this issue on campus and in the greater community.
