Your gift to the UM Foundation in support of the Flathead Lake Biological Station Opportunity Fund gives us the flexibility to maintain and expand educational efforts for University students, including classes, independent research and interdisciplinary internships. 

With your support, we will continue engaging with local schools to help empower students and teachers with more scientific knowledge about Flathead Lake and its watershed. 

Your gift also allows us to sustain and improve our long-term monitoring of Flathead and Whitefish Lakes, communicate our science with the Flathead community and advance world-class research by our faculty and scientists in all areas of freshwater science.
