Your gift to the UM Foundation in support of the Skaggs School of Pharmacy helps us direct essential resources to the GrizRx Assurance Program.

The GrizRx Assurance Program provides a focused direct academic path, from freshman year through matriculation to the UM Doctor of Pharmacy degree, for qualified pre-pharmacy freshmen. Students accepted into the program are mentored by pharmacy faculty, participate in monthly educational session and discussions with various pharmacists and pharmacy faculty, take active part in outreach activities across Montana organized by the School of Pharmacy, and enroll in a two-year pre-pharmacy curriculum while receiving a scholarship to support their pre-pharmacy studies.

When you give to the GrizRx Assurance Program, you help: 

• Recruit passionate and academically high-achieving high school seniors to enter profession of pharmacy.
• Double our program size. We plan to expand our GrizRx Assurance Program class size to 15-20 students, and we are actively recruiting students from across the region including rural parts of Montana. 
• Keep our program attractive and affordable for students. We offer one of the most affordable Doctor of Pharmacy degrees in the U.S., and we do so while keeping our class sizes small and graduation and employment rates high.
• Recruit and train the next generation of competent and carrying Montana pharmacists. Over 70% of our Doctor of Pharmacy graduates go on to practice in Montana.
