The S.E.A. Change Initiative powers a societal sea change by providing a safe and empowering campus for all women and a community that accelerates their careers and lives of impact. Launched in spring 2019, this leadership initiative prepares UM students and high school students to be the changemakers who will advance equity for all.
Your gift in support of the S.E.A. Change Initiative allows UM to provide students with internship opportunities, trainings, entrepreneurship programming and a S.E.A. Change summer program for middle- and high-school students.
UM continues to invite support of critical programs and services that advance efforts to sustain a safe campus that accelerates and empowers all students. These ventures include:
- S.E.A. Change Initiative for UM Students
- The Student Advocacy Resource Center
- Women’s Leadership Initiative, a leadership training program
- Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies
- Women’s Entrepreneurship and Leadership Lab, which fuels entrepreneurship among UM women
