Rise Up Together UM

Your gift to the UM Foundation in support of the UM Food Pantry helps us fulfill our mission and provide free food and personal care products to UM students and others facing basic needs insecurity in a confidential and dignified manner. 

Your support allows us to continue purchasing healthy food for those facing food insecurity and expand our capacity to provide other services on campus, such as SNAP application support, outreach and education. With your support, we can help keep students in school and work to remove the stigma for those experiencing food and housing insecurity in our community. 

We rely heavily on donations from the community to support our mission and ensure we always have a supply of healthy food and personal care products for customers of the pantry. Your gift helps the UM Food Pantry:  

• Purchase a healthy variety of food for those experiencing food insecurity.  
• Build the capacity of the pantry to offer other services, such as SNAP application support, referrals, nutrition education and satellite locations.
• Support the passionate UM Food Pantry staff in educating others about food justice and raising awareness to address this issue on campus and in the greater community.
