Your gift to the UM Foundation in support of the College of Humanities and Sciences Impact Fund helps us direct essential resources so students and faculty can thrive.
Your unrestricted support helps expand student recruitment and retention activities, fund scholarship and professional development opportunities by sending faculty to academic conferences, bolster emergency aid for students with pandemic-related needs, allows us to create innovative teaching methods and technology, and expand our capacity to engage with campus.
When you give to the College of Humanities and Sciences Impact Fund, you help:
- Provide stipends and training to our Student Ambassadors program. This program selects College of Humanities and Sciences students to serve as representatives of the college at events including Homecoming, advisory board meetings, UM Days and new student orientation.
- Support our research centers, including the Humanities Institute.
- Sponsor lecturers and conferences on campus to enrich student learning and engage broader communities in scholarship. Upcoming events include a racial discourse lecture series and CoLang, a language revitalization workshop hosted by the Linguistics Program, and we host the Montana Model United Nations and Montana State Science Fair annually.
